About

I lead product work and still enjoy designing and coding.

I've been freelance since 2007. I usually join when a product is still taking shape. We make the direction clearer, shape the interface, and get the first real version built.

I stay close after launch too: fixing what needs fixing, improving what users touch, and helping the team keep momentum. Day to day, you work directly with me through written updates, shared tools, and short calls when they are useful.

How I work

I stay close to the product and close to the code. That keeps decisions practical. If I suggest something, I can usually build it too.

If something feels bigger than it needs to be, we pull it back to the simplest useful version. Good typography, fast pages, reusable patterns, content your team can change without asking me every time.

AI is in my workflow every day. It handles more of the repetitive production work now, but it does not make the calls. I use it to move faster and keep more attention on the product.

I care about the pace of the work as much as the output. People do better work when they know what is happening and why.

Most projects fall into one of two setups. I build the first version with you, or I lead the work while your team builds. I take on two clients at a time.
